Our Love
Story
Our first date was on a rainy Tuesday evening at a quiet little wine bar named Vega in Bernal Heights, San Francisco. We spent a long time talking and still joke about Sarah's tough questions, like what Eric's credit score was. The rest is history.

We met a few months prior to the pandemic starting and as a result weren't able to visit easily with our families in Texas and New York.
In fact Eric didn't meet the McNutts in person until two years after we had started dating. Eric's first visit to Buffalo was truly a comedy of errors, after two cancelled flights, lost luggage, and a late night pick up from the Buffalo airport by Bruce, Sarah's dad, after our rental car was not available.

Sarah had arranged for family photos by the talented photographer Sarah Potter @ Seventh Arrow Studio. Originally, it was planned to take place in an apple orchard but Sarah, a huge ceramic art nerd, discovered the monumental works of Jun Kaneko were still on display outside of Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin Martin house.
Eric snuck in with the help of the photographer and proposed with a beautiful ring from Harry Winston. It was artfully perfect.
Our Engadgement

The Move to Fort WortH
In December of 2021, we bought a home in Fort Worth, Texas and moved from our long term residence in San Francisco, CA to be closer to family. Eric's mom Gladys, sister Shauna, niece and nephew as well and Sarah's sister Theresa & husband Jorge's family are all coincidentally in the same area! I think the pandemic drew into focus the importance of being near family, and once we determined SF was not going to be our forever home, we started casting the home buying net to Texas. We've learned ALOT as new home owners and have been working hard updating our house and making it a home.
